Over the last year I have noticed the sun reflecting off of glass on buildings. It is momentary and repeats when the sun is at the same angle, twice a year.

Found these pages in an older sketchbook while filling out an online application. Attend the Globe Studios Art Show and Open House November 27, 4-9pm and November 28 11am- 4pm and you can see it live. In addition you can see the collection of thoughts during that time. Other works will feature the “In Homer Watson’s Foot Steps” project. Isabella Stefanescu rents a studio there and she has invited me to share her space for that event. Come and see both our work.

Being August it was easy to be outside. I was walking down the lane 9:30 pm, Friday, August 14 and there the moon peeked from behind the tree, barely over a house. Then on Saturday I noticed about the same time the moon a bit higher and more easterly. And on Sunday it was even more to the east.

I also wanted to document my neighbour’s use of incandescent and florescent light bulbs over the adjoining garage doors. They are fabulous in the rain.

Make your visits in person to obtain these free 5″ x 7″ reproductions of paintings made with support from Region of Waterloo Arts Fund. One per person at each site while they last. The original paintings are available for purchase by contacting the artist.
