Workshops

Robert teaches classes in gouache painting and watercolour woodcut (moku hanga). Classes inspire artists at all stages of development to explore their “sparks of wonder’.  In painting with gouache, artists develop techniques in this unique medium exploring opaque and transparent layering. Themes in the public painting classes have been of urban landscapes sometimes inspired by the presence of the moon phases, landscape and working with seniors studying self-portraiture to develop self worth and identity.
